Our story began with a dream and a profound sense of purpose. In 1985, Charbel Korkmaz, a man of vision and resilience, founded Cybele Real Estate in Beirut, Lebanon. Named after his devoted mother, Cybele was more than a business—it was a tribute to family values, integrity, and dedication. Charbel’s unwavering commitment to excellence earned him a reputation that transcended borders. Not only did he lay the foundations of Cybele’s success, but his influence also extended to the wider real estate sector. As a founder and elected president of the Order of Real Estate Appraisers in Lebanon (OREA) for more than a decade, Charbel became a prominent figure in the industry. He also played a vital role in establishing and participating in numerous Arab real estate organizations affiliated with the Arab League, including the prestigious Arab Union for Real Estate Development (AURD). Under his leadership, Cybele’s name became synonymous with expertise, reliability, and visionary thinking across Lebanon and the GCC.

From its beginnings as a real estate consulting firm, Cybele grew steadily, expanding its services to include property valuation, management, and feasibility studies. Its reputation for excellence extended beyond Lebanon, reaching the dynamic markets of the GCC. But Charbel’s ambition went further. He envisioned an entity that could offer more than consulting—a complete, synergistic solution for the evolving needs of clients.


This vision led to Cybele’s transformation into Korkmaz Holding Group (KHG), a multifaceted entity encompassing specialized companies to deliver integrated services across real estate consulting, development, and engineering. Cybele itself became a cornerstone of this new structure, continuing to thrive as one of KHG’s flagship entities. It retained its identity and mission, standing as a testament to the same values that had fueled its success since inception, while contributing to the larger vision of the holding group.


In 2024, the legacy of Cybele took a bold step forward with its rebranding into KCG, a new chapter for the company within the KHG family. The rebranding marked an expanded focus on consultancy schemes, designed to address a wider spectrum of client needs while preserving the essence that defined the firm from the start. Named after the family’s enduring values, KCG reflects the spirit of innovation, excellence, and personal dedication that has driven the Korkmaz name for nearly four decades.
